The Gears of War Single Player version has with five acts. The new levels occur at the beginning of the fifth and final act. Brumak is a monster armed with guns and rocket launchers. Brumak features in the promo but was never a part of the game till he finally featured in the PC version.

When played on Xbox 360 controller it is identical to the 360 version. You can also choose to play with mouse and keyboard too. An advantage of the PC version is that you can bump up the graphical resolution and quality. There’s even some DirectX 10 optimization. However the speed is slow on occasions. Nothing to beat the Xbox- experience.

You can add up points if you are improving your Achievements on the 360. Points earned on Gears PC are in addition to your achievements on Xbox 360.  You can’t, however, mix and match between the PC and 360 versions via cooperative or multiplayer play.

Since Epic has dropped support for split screen, two gamers cannot play the game cooperatively, as you can on the 360. You can play cooperatively over your home network with two or more PCs or online. Overall, the Gears single player campaign is very good and Brumak has made it livelier. You can move all of them together and maintain control individually as well. Initially the game is fairly easy.
